About me

I am a highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills. I fully intend to pursue a career within a creative environment, ideally in the area of branding and advertising. My work experience to date has included working both within large advertising agencies as well as joining a corporate in-house design team.I am a recent Graphic Design graduate of University College Falmouth. My work experience to date has included working both within large advertising agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather. As well as smaller design and branding agencies including Hunt Haggarty. I have joined Barclays Wealth In-House design team for a 5 week placement, and most recently joined a small design agency Fernandez + Waddy for a week placement as a Junior Designer.

I fully intend to pursue a career within a creative environment, ideally in the area of branding and advertising. I am ideally looking for a work placement to gain experience with the hopes of a permanent position.

Skills

Ability to work with several operating systems, including Windows and Mac OSX., - Advanced knowledge and experience of the Adobe Creative Suite. Including;, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Dreamweaver., - Advanced knowledge of Mircosoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint and Word.

Sector Experience

Ogilvy & Mather, Graphic Designer, Sept 2010 - Aug 2012, I joined Ogilvy & Mather as an assistant graphic designer in 2010 and since then I have been invited back for six further placements. I assisted with the idea generation and design of current briefs for two key clients, one corporate and one charity. I worked alongside the Account Planners and Creative Directors., Barclays Wealth, In-house Graphic Designer, June - July 2012, I joined the Barclays Wealth design team as a junior graphic designer, assisting the Creative Director with a variety of live briefs. These included internal brouchures and posters, along with external client information packs. I worked closely with the Research, Branding, Events and Marketing teams., Fernandez + Waddy, Graphic Designer, August 2012, Hunt & Haggarty, Graphic Designer, April 2011
