Dear Sir/Madam,

I finished studying my Foundation Degree in Interior Design in December 2014 and graduate in July 2015.I studied this at the National Design Academy and the degree is accredited by the Staffordshire University. This course was based completely online, which allowed me to work full time as well as gaining my degree. To complete my coursework on time I had to be entirely dedicated to setting myself deadlines and keeping to them. Throughout the assignments, I was required to draw my initial concepts by hand, which I then transferred and modelled in AutoCAD. This allowed me to visualise and verify that everything worked in harmony. Once everything is correct I then exported the drawing to Photoshop to add colour, texture and depth as this is what will be presented to the client.

To study interior design I have to show that I have an eye for detail and have advanced IT skills. In my current job I have to show that I can liaise with clients and have great communication skill. I believe that I can bring all these attributes and more, along with my experience to your company.

I am currently working at The Home Retail Group as an Assistant Stylist, where I work on photography sets. I am given a brief by a Senior Stylist and have to arrange for all the props and samples I need to be on set. I then have to style the samples which vary from room sets to bookshelves and bedding, and make sure that the sample looks the best it can in the final photo. For this role I need to have an eye for detail, demonstrate good communication, be able to work to tight deadline and achieve targets.
