About me

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Photographic Practice, so I am hugely enthusiastic about the possibility of working within a creative environment. My Photoshop skills are excellent and I have intermediate skills using InDesign and Illustrator.

In my spare time I perform in, and manage a band. I create, edit and print all of the artwork for the band, including album covers, event posters and flyers. This is an area that I really enjoy and would mean that my enthusiasm taking on this role would be second to none. I update and maintain our social media presence and am constantly updating the website as I am driven to keep our image fresh and exciting.

This experience has also required me to organize and run events. This will involve liaising with staff, performers and management, arranging terms with venues etc.

In my role as Administrator, and as Receptionist, I have collected and updated confidential information so I am acutely aware of the importance of data protection at all times.

Whilst in this position I often had to type from dictation, and take minutes. I am a quick typist and have extensive experience with MS Office and other Mac variations, so as well as being able to use a new computer system, I will quickly and confidently type from dictation and take minutes in meetings.

As a Key-holder at The Body Shop, I ran the store in the Manager's absence. My favourite part of this job was visual merchandising, where because of my creative flair I could take the standard layouts and interpret them, in keeping with the brand, in a more creative way. I was always praised for my charismatic displays.

This experience, when coupled with my enthusiasm and dedication, has helped the business to gain a place as one of the top twenty stores in the UK. I am confident that I can bring this level of success with me to your organisation.
