About Haruka
I am Haruka, a product designer from Japan, currently living and working in London.
Just before graduating from Seijo University, the large earthquake Tōhoku hit Tokyo in March 2011.
This natural disaster became a turning point in my life, and caused me to follow my dreams of studying design.
In my work I always aim to bring out the natural charm of the materials, to consider the whole process, and create products that touch people in their daily lives.
