About me

I have recently finished working as a graphic designer for Redactive Media Group in which I have been able to develop my skill set that parallels your requirements. Expanding on a wide range of techniques and mediums giving me all the necessary skills to see through a given project from first idea to conceptual development, design and final product. I am proficient and comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite, both on Mac and Windows operating systems, which allows me to produce dynamic and professional design solutions.

During my time working with the marketing department at Redactive, I have been able to work on a wide selection of material for both print and web. Working as a team was crucial with an equal emphasis on individual targets, goals and expectations. It was an invaluable experience granting me the opportunity to focus on effective design that maximizes engagement and interest. Redactive is a far-ranging media group that produces work for events publications and web, allowing me to produce work for a broad spectrum of clients with different brand guidelines.

Through my freelance work I have been able to work on a range of projects from logo design development through to the creation of fashion look books. Working one to one was a great way for me to build confidence in communicating effectively with clients to get the best results. In addition, throughout all my work I continuously strive to work to the best of my ability and I pride myself on my close attention to detail.

My Previous experience working as a Graphic Designer and Website Administrator for Community Impact Bucks has taught me how to produce high quality work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining the continuity and style of their brand image. Working on icons and image manipulation for their website as well creating a range of marketing materials such as flyers and a training digest. I developed the digest in a calendar format ensuring it clearly communicated the training on offer within the volunteer sector. As part of this project I handled everything with the printers and worked to achieve a high quality fresh design on budget. In addition, my role included elements of administration and studio organisation using word and excel.

My key strengths of are a close attention to detail, typography, illustration and layout. I am proficient with Indesign, Photoshop and illustrator and have a strong knowledge in layout construction and finishes. I am well organised, can take instruction as well as my own initiative and always work hard to complete tasks efficiently and to the best of my ability. A fast and enthusiastic learner, I am ready to build upon what I have learnt and face the next challenge. I look forward to hearing from you regarding this exciting opportunity.
