About me
My current position as brand partnerships intern at Mumsnet involves working alongside the Client sales team within the Commercial Team. I work with the sales team to pitch for and manage advertising campaigns, come up with creative ideas for new brand partnerships, manage client relationships and report on Google Analytics, DFP, and Campaign Monitor.
After graduating with a BSc 2:1 in Sports Science and Physiology from Leeds University I completed a summer internship with market research agency Tangible Branding. This gave me the opportunity to learn about the the industry and research process, deal with clients, build skills in video editing, interviewing and many other areas as well as conduct and deliver my own research project.
I spent 2016 working and traveling in Australia. My employment in the head office of the Uniting Church of Australia involved administration in the property team along with reception duties.
While at university I pro-actively sought opportunities to work creatively, leading me to produce artwork for the 'lippy' online and print magazine. I also wrote articles for the Gryphon Newspaper science section. Other volunteer roles at university included captain of Ladies Badminton 1st team, club kit secretary and RAG fundraiser.
Further work experience includes M&S sparks team, student ambassador; mentor for Leeds City Council; International Quest activity leader; badminton coach; bar staff; cleaner and waitress.
These past work experiences have developed my time management skills, problem solving, communication, creativity and initiative.
