About me

After recently completing my studies in BA (Hons) Photography, I have collected plenty of experience using photography equipment within a studio environment such as using a variety of different cameras both digital and film as well as outdoor and indoor lighting.

Due to most of my photographic work being of a fashion/commercial background I know the importance of keeping work organised and track of where it is. For example when I worked with different companies shooting two to four products multiple times, I had to keep all the files in separate folders knowing where the images are stored and where to access them. Therefore I am a highly organised person and good with keeping records on different important documents.

With all my images I have used photoshop/lightroom to successfully edit and retouch my images as well as InDesign to produce look books. Therefore I have a great understanding to how all these editing/design software work to produce certain things.

Due to my photography work being very creative within the studio I know the lengths it takes to produce a shoot as well as picture research to find the images for concepts. For all of my work I begin with researching picture wise in terms of what is already out there and how I can draw from these pictures to take my own.

As I currently work part time as a team leader at a holiday club, I have to plan in advance different activities such as sports days or themed weeks. Therefore I know how to priorities certain activities over others, but also have the ability to successfully put things into action a month in advance. I also used this time planning and organisational skills to plan shoots for three months into the future and planning around the different seasons.
