Dear Sir/ Madam,

In response to the advertisement for the position of Graphic Designer, please find my CV attached for your perusal.

To summarise, I have been working and studying in the design industry for over 15 years. This started in when I completed a BA Hons degree in Product Design at Hertfordshire University. During this time I also began my career as a Graphic Designer for Northamptonshire County Council.

In 2000 I joined Home Retail Group (Argos/Homebase) in Milton Keynes as an in-house Graphic Designer. I was in this position for 12 years, developing a raft of associated skills and knowledge, and decided it was time to seek a new and exciting challenge. Until I find the such a role I have taken up a temporary contract as a Graphic Design/ Account Handler.

The role of Graphic Designer is particularly appealing because I am confident and proficient with creative graphic design for use in publications and other promotional materials using the relevant design softwares. This role will further enable me to continue building on my design associated skills.

My friends and colleagues believe that I am an enthusiastic individual who can bring creativity, commitment and value to visual communications.
