About me

With over 9 years experience I have worked in various creative roles from artworker to senior designer. Despite finding some of these experiences challenging I have also found them extremely rewarding particularly when I have been able to do more than one role and gained experiences and knowledge of the whole creative process. I am an articulate and professional design manager who has extensive experience in the design studio environment, I am driven and very keen with an eye for detail on the finer points of design. I am able to manage and equally able to collaborate in a team as I am capable of getting on and working independently to get the job done.

I have practical design experience of both Macintosh and PC platforms as well as increased knowledge of Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and html. During my time at Caprin Printer as a Mac Operator/Designer I gained wide knowledge of print processes, within that position I developed leadership skills, worked as a team player and collaborate effectively to create a wide variety of point of sales and brochure designs. The most important thing that I learned was to design effectively for print, meeting tight deadlines and organizing multiple pages of copy into striking layouts.

After transferring to FPD Savills, I worked as a web designer where I had to produce various designs, animations and concepts for their varied list of clients. This task required me to broaden and adapt my skills for digital design.
