About me

From a young age I always knew I wanted to work on the 'creative' side. Every step I took, educationally and personal was aimed at getting me closer to what I knew would be a productive and meaningful life. This for me meant making a living out of being creative.

School, college, university were all creatively lead, leading me to my first job as a CAD engineer. This quickly developed to a visual illustrator which I honed down to interiors, kitchen interiors to be specific. Having spent years looking at plans and bringing them to life I took the natural step of a trained designer. I started designing kitchens.

In 2009 I took the brave step of setting up my own high-end kitchen company along with a partner. This was a great learning curve for me as it would be a full time commitment and a dive head first, into an amazing unknown.

This period of my professional life has been fantastic. From nothing, (and I do mean from nothing) we built a very successful business dealing with exclusive brands, high spec projects and very demanding clients.

Why am I applying for this job now

Having been bought out as a director, I have evaluated my career and have chosen to stay on the creative path and look for a role in a company that will best suite not just me but also the company.
