About me

As you can see from my attached CV and portfolio, I have plenty of experience working with big brands and marketing. I now have 15+ years' work experience, beginning my career in London and a few of years ago relocating to Suffolk. I have worked in lots of different industries - publishing, accountancy, finance and within a WPP marketing agency all giving me varied experience across the designer spectrum in both digital and print.
My current role as Senior Designer at PDQ media has reinforced my understanding of the entire design process. I lead my own​ creative design projects across different platforms, liaising account managers, the company directors, freelancers and clients. My role as Artworker at Burrows (A WPP Agency) in the print and digital production team has taught me to manage projects and people from conception to the printing of Ford and Mazda brochures, in doing so I have learnt a great deal about time management and organisation. As sole designer for the GIFRS team at Ernst & Young I was previously responsible for creating a series of brochures and financial statements from conception right through to final print stages.
My role at IG supported the marketing activity for all business worldwide across all media. This included taking design concepts for advertisements, legal and financial documents, reports, brochures, flyers, exhibition material, merchandise and more through to print and production. I've worked on both Mac and PC using the Adobe creative suite and Microsoft office packages. I have also worked on freelance projects including magazine, adverts, packaging, flyers, web banners etc. This has given me the opportunity to utilise my skills in a variety of ways.
My attached CV outlines the skills I have acquired through my employment positions. As an individual I am organised, confident, friendly, self-motivated, proactive, keen to learn and enjoy a challenge. I take a high degree of care and pride in all work I undertake, be it large or small. I also have the ability to prioritise, great attention to detail, use my own initiative working well as an individual as well as a team.
