About me
Last July, BA Illustration graduate and writer, Hannah Deakin set out on twelve months of solo travel in the Far East, with nothing but a carry on and her natural curiosity for discovery.
Eager to form deeper, more meaningful connections with the outside world, she has fully immersed herself in interactions with new people and cultures and begun developing her unique voice and an acculturated sense of self.
Having graduated from the University of Brighton with a degree in the arts, her travels have revitalised her love of culture, design and writing, and inspired her to engage with her readers on a multidisciplinary level, leading to the creation of her digital blog, DEAKS_JOURNAL.
In her leisure time, she has also written editorial for online publications and she has continued to write content for online fashion brands and fashion publications.
