About me
I am a recent graduate trying to find a position within these unprecedented times and would love the opportunity to work for a company that allows me to fulfil my creative potential. I thrive within a team and can communicate well with a diverse background of people, although I am able to work alone and pride myself in my ability to step up to any task. From a young age I have always been interested in a creative career and have dabbled in art and photography over the years. When picking a course at university I wanted a degree that would allow me to be creative and still be a sustainable career, Bournemouth University offered me this within event management. I have spent the last 4 years learning a multitude of skills that would aid me in a career, worked an industry placement, built a brand and run an event that was nominated for a national award as well as worked with real companies and written a 12,000 word dissertation. I believe this shows dedication and although sometimes it felt never ending and felt as though the struggle wasn't worth it, the hard work has paid off and I am predicted to graduate with a 2:1 and I couldn't be happier.
