Dear Sir/Madam,

Im writing to you regards to the Digital and Graphic Designer position advertised through creativepool.co.uk, job reference: CVS/EN/JN and would like to put myself forward for it. I am really interested in this position and would love the opportunity of joining CVS.

A little about myself, I am a recent graduate with Bachelors in Industrial Design and a Masters in Graphic Design. Currently undertaking an internship with Solimar International (*), where I have been producing materials such as logos, stationary, brochures and other forms of internet marketing material for clients of Solimar. With working with Solimar International, I have been working across time zones with different departments in the USA and in Africa.

I have excellent skills with: brochure, Logo, document, poster, flyer design, corporate identity and stationary design. I am also able to freehand sketch, photo retouching, 3D objects and Typography generations. I am technically proficient with the adobe suite CS4; Photoshop, Indesign, Dreamweaver and Illustrator, which I regularly use in day-to-day actives for Solimar International and personal use. I can also use 3D render packages, such as Cinema 4D. As a hobby I also frequently use photography, where I have worked on photoshoots for Aspect Home Cinema (*) for brochures and website content (yet to be re-launched). I have also been improving their branding with marketing material; stationary, flyers and the SEO of their website.

Through my Bachelors, I learnt about product and packaging design, where I gathered the knowledge of design, packaging, sustainability, materials, manufacturing processes logos, branding and point of sale. For my Masters Major Project I worked on producing a new marketing campaign for Welcome to Yorkshire, working with Cinema 4D to produce 3D Typography, while working with their existing brand.

I'm passionate about my work and put my all into any task thrown at me along with challenging my comfort zone by learning new skills and tackling new media. While having an eye for detail, an artistic flair and passion in both print and digital design, I am professional and well motivated designer. I love what I do and continue to practice this along with challenging my comfort zone by learning new skills and tackling new media.
