About me
For the past year and a half I have been working within a lively and creative studio in Shoreditch, my position initially started as a maternity cover but conveniently became permanent when I naturally grew into the role, and my predecessor decided that she would rather spend time with her children! Since then I have learnt some great skills in how to run a successful studio and have implemented processes and procedures across the board to ensure that we as a team and as a company, are working to the highest level of efficiency.
My role has grown from the everyday tasks of a Studio Manager into a more hands on and active position, it is important for me to work closely within the team so that I am able to support and encourage them within their work. I have a good financial understanding - having ran the accounts for the past year, working within a small company like Scape has exposed me to all of the aspects of running a business. This has provided me with the ability to look at things from a development point of view, constantly looking to improve the how the Studio environment is ran.
I have been the 'go-to' person for pretty much any non-project related issue, whether that be HR, IT, Marketing or Accounts. I pride myself in always being in the position to support and help with any situation that arises, this approach has allowed me to maintain an enjoyable and healthy Studio environment whilst knowing when members of the team need to be pulled back into line.
