About me
I am a graduate student with many years' experience and proficient in media design and music fields. Currently seeking a permanent job in Digital Media or Games industry.
I am about to graduate with a PhD degree in Human-Computer Interaction and Digital Media from the School of Computing Science at the Newcastle University, UK. After graduated with an MSc degree in Music Technology in the University of York in 2004, I expanded my interests from psychoacoustics, sound design and audio programming to Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Ambient Intelligence and Pervasive Computing which relate to computing science, psychology, creative art, social science and engineering. Currently my research, entitled "Utilizing crossmodal attention for Ambient Intelligence", focuses on exploiting cognitive psychology such as crossmodal attention and multimodal integration to design and evaluate novel interaction of personal mobile devices and public ambient displays to support problems solving about privacy, periphery and interface adaptation in current public spaces and future ambient intelligent environment.
