About me

After 17 years in my current position as In-house Designer for The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management I am looking for a new challenge.

In my current role I am responsible for designing individual pages and overseeing production of both a monthly and a quarterly magazine. On top of this I have worked on magazine and web adverts (in-house and for external customers), posters, exhibition stands, pop-up banners, conference sets, website design, marketing emails and more. As such, I have a great deal of experience working within brand guidelines for many different products and for different companies.

I have been using Adobe Creative Suite products for over 20 years and would consider myself an expert at both Photoshop and InDesign as well as other software. I also have extensive experience with both Apple and Windows computers, have had Apple tech support training, and manage the IT support for the Apple computers in our office. I also have experience with HTML, CSS, Wordpress, PHP and Javascript.

As my current role involves producing a monthly magazine as well as producing marketing material for the company, I am used to working to deadlines, often juggling many different projects and organising my time to prioritise these.
