Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, living in São Paulo, married, three children, love football and advertising. I was a copyrighter and creative director at JW Thompson, DPZ, Artplan, 100%Propaganda.16 years a go I opened 1121, an independent creative agency in São Paulo and Rio. I worked also at TV Globo, was the president of the Creative Club in Rio and I am now the president of ABAP Rio, the Brazilian Agencies Association.

In the last two years, Gustavo became president of the Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies (ABAP) in the Rio de Janeiro section. His agency, 11:21, where he is CEO and CCO, was the second most awarded in Rio de Janeiro and his client Rio Carioca Beer, the most awarded client. Gustavo is the list of 10 most awarded creatives in the Colunistas Awards, the most traditional award in Brazilian advertising, and was the second most awarded copywriter and DC in the Creative Club awards in Rio de Janeiro.
