Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Guilherme, from Portugal, I am curently living in Dublin and having finished my 3rd level studies I am now seeking for a unique job experience.
My academic background includes:
- 3 year Marketing BA Degree from Aveiro University (Portugal). - 3 year Multimedia and Communication Masters Degree from UTAD University (Portugal). - Master Thesis in Contextual Advertising for Mobile devices (Mark: 85%). - Academic research includes a published paper (Foundations for a context-aware mobile advertising system, Centeris, 2011, Albufeira, Portugal). My complementary studies include:
- A short-term course (25 hours) on Design; - Instructor certificate - English B1 certificate - Drivers licence
During my years as a student I lead my areas of study towards Marketing and Advertising but with my academic background I am also capable to work in different areas such as Marketing Strategy and Marketing Management; Advertising and Promotion; Sales; Media management and Communications; and Design, Image and Brand strategy.
Finally, I have also gained competences in a various range of Software - Adobe Photoshop CS6, Adobe Illustrator, Joomla and 3D Studio Max.
The scope of my Professional experience includes:
- A 6-month long international internship at Lingual Consultancy Services, in India, conducting the strategy segment for Portuguese and Brazilian Market together with Business Development, Translation and Project management. During this time I learnt multiple and diverse skills such as dealing with an entirely new business culture, developing my competences in many different areas such as Marketing, Language and Team Coordination.
- A Portuguese Quality Assurance Tester internship at Keywords International Dublin in Ireland for 3 months. I came across a fast paced environment strongly in need of multitask, attention to detail and team cooperation which allowed me to successfully accomplish good performances and learning key industry skills.
- Marketing and Advertising teaching in Trás-os-Montes University.
Other than professionally I also accomplished multiple goals throughout my life with various volunteer contributions to different organizations such as:
- Event organization, Weekimedia (multimedia week) and ActUAliza-te (update yourself) - Social volunteer, Child support, Elderly care - Sports (8 year football player) - Student association member (Aveiro University and UTAD University).
