About me
Guido Alberto Rossi was born in Milan in 1949. It did not take him a long time to decide that he wanted to be a photographer, and in 1966 he had his first work published in the magazine Sport Illustrato, a feature of Monza Formula 1 Grand Prix.
In 1967 there was something completely different from racing cars in front of his camera: he was in the Middle East as a war photographer, a job which went on for some years, taking him to Africa, Cambodia and Vietnam. Later he worked with the major sports and travel magazines in the world on assignments. In fact, travelling has always been one of his greatest passions, as the photographs he took almost everywhere on earth show very well.
In the late Seventies he started the Italian branch of THE IMAGE BANK, with one office in Milan and one in Rome. After TIB was sold, things changed and there was no love between him and the new owners, so in 2004 he started TIPS Images & Film. Since then he has never given up his primary job as a photographer.
