About me

Hi

I am literate in graphic designer software as demonstrated by my
NVQ3 certificate. I can easily work on MAC or PC software while
designing leaflets, posters etc. My previous experience with the Street
Performers organisation gave me the opportunity to improve my spatial
thinking and creativity as well as my confidence in my designs and work
in a high pressure environment with perfect accuracy. Studying Creative
Advertising at Thames Valley University has helped me to develop a
range of skills, in particular to communicate creatively through my
ideas with potential audiences.

I would say that my mission statement would be: that uninteresting,
dull adverts based on stereotypes and idiocy should be replaced by
advertisements which awake and influence imagination. The variety and
playfulness of these ads challenge and persuade the
‘current’ audience in a more sophisticated manner.
I chose this as my aim because advertising should be the art of
persuasion and as every piece of art should inspire and amaze; not just
be a piece of litter without creativity that JUST informs. I feel this
way every time that I see an advert selling washing powder but there
are other fields of FMCG which make me feel this way as well. I have
always been sensitive on this particular issue however this increased
when I moved to London. Here the public is overwhelmed by every sort of
product promotion and most of them are uninteresting and dull.

I hope that, on consideration of my CV, you may see my potential to
perform well on the creative intern position and to make a real
contribution as a member of your firm. I can be available for interview
at any time and look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Grzegorz Szulczewski
