I am submitting my resume for the Production Assistant position posted on Indeed. I recently graduated from the University at Albany and am currently enrolled in night school at The New School where I am pursuing a certificate in film production. I believe that I am a perfect candidate for this position.
I meet all of your must haves attached to this position. I am fully willing to commit to your company values based on what I can tell about the company from the website. I am willing to lift heavy objects and do similar grunt work. I have a flexible schedule, although I do have classes two nights a week but they don't start until 7pm at the earliest and I can even be flexible with those. I am more than willing to travel and I have tremendous interpersonal skills, a great work ethic, and an extremely positive attitude.
I have tons of experience creating video content for both personal endeavors as well as school assignments. This gives me a more than basic familiarity with all of the types of equipment you have listed. Also, being that I am pursuing a film production certificate, my experience with video production will only continue to grow. This includes experience with: DSLR cameras, film cameras, lighting equipment, and sound equipment.
While pursuing my undergraduate degree I learned how to be extremely detail-oriented and honed my already solid multi-tasking skills. I am capable of working both independently and with a team and can be productive either way. I consider myself to be an excellent communicator and love interacting with all different types of people. I also consider myself to be very creative which is part of the reason why I am studying film production.
In addition to my unique blend of skills and interests that I think fits perfectly with your company, I also have internship experience working with a television production company. I believe that this experience gives me a great foundation for the type of skills that I will need to do well at your company.
