About me

From reading the short intro into the business I knew I'd be a perfect candidate. Attributed in multi-tasking from a young age and ever developing as technology demands and the world moves faster. Setting up my own businesses, working in large production teams and fighting for jobs in a competitive market has increased my communication skills and more importantly, ability to read both a situation and people and adapt to the environment.

My attention to detail is paramount to my work, where I will put everything into ensuring the progress and final output of the work, from every frame in my Yamaha advert of colour and animation, to every edited hair in my Photoshop work. This detail translates across all pieces of work be it my EPQ project of analysis and psychological study, to essays of thoughts and mini-dissertation work ensuring all thought points are covered as well as analysing targeting of campaigns, maximising SEO potential and efficiency and appropriate forms of communication.

Attached will be a link to UniBookBid, a digital company I set-up at University as a pilot project promoted over Twitter Facebook and the website I created using Dreamweaver from scratch learning as I went along. This project developed all the necessary skills for online promotions; both highlighting pros and cons of SEO, its usefulness and better ways to get a page on Google within a week. For example by simply asking Google to bot the site, it appears within 3 days, then comes SEO and SEM to keep it there.

Through this I monitored many systems including Google analytics, analysing video creations when added, the feedback etc... As listed in my CV I am highly proficient with graphic design, one of my basic works is featured on the South East Section koi website, and template design on the UniBookBid site and more recently an animation in flash CS6 for YAMAHA - PlayToTheWorld. These works are now listed on my website under projects titled atop my CV.

My work experience in international business has helped a lot in understanding a multinational company, especially one that has a technology base sourced from countries like Japan. Unique experiences like this are hard to find and essential to learn and develop from, I have learnt well from my experience and plan to use that knowledge to good use in real world business practicalities; especially B2B where deals can be lucrative but difficult to negotiate sometimes.

Considering I recently organised the All England Koi Show 2013 last weekend, as far as PA audio, center ring management and layout design as well as the photography my event management skills are well pronounced as well as team management, organisation and time management. Now as an entrepreneur of my own small business I understand how to 'get things done' and will always approach a task to finish it, many problems do arise as I have found out but solving them is part of the fun.

Yours Faithfully, Gregg Harris
