About me

I am in my second year of a three year BSc (Hons) Digital Animation in 3D Technology Course at Staffordshire University. This degree course develops skills in film and television acquisition, post-production:

- Media 100 non-linear editing

- Adobe Photoshop

- AfterEffects

- 3D Studio Max

- Maya

- Scriptwriting and media technology

Prior to the current course I studied the first year of the Entertainment Technology BSc (Hons) and have developed skills in software development

- C++

- Java

- Virtual Reality Markup Language

- I have full working knowledge and experience of operating the Cannon XL1 3 chip digital camera, location lighting and sound recording

- I have practical experience working with Windows computers

I am interested in obtaining digital animation / modelling experience in either TV or film industries as part of my year out.

I have always had an interest in digital animation and modelling. I selected the Digital Animation in 3D Technology Course to gain the necessary knowledge and expertise to help me with a career in the television / film and multimedia sector. I am interested in all areas of film and video production and would be as productive as possible in a work experience position during my year out.
