About me
As a former Creative Director, I've had to navigate my
way through the freelance minefield, on more than one occassion. If
you're lucky to find a few quality quality freelancers, you
almost want to keep them in your studio as often as possible, fearful
that once they go, you might not see them again. And inevitably, the
day you need one of your regulars more than ever, it's too short
notice and they're booked elsewhere.
Having been in this position before, I know how stressful it can be
when you're up against a fixed deadline, with no chance of an
extension, everyone else in the studio is busy and you've got a
boat load of visuals to nail before 9am tomorrow.
This is where I come in.
After 20 years in the industry, I'm proud of my skills and
consider myself a highly conceptual, creative professional that thrives
under pressure. I come pre-installed with bags of ideas and enthusiasm
even for the most challenging briefs with the tightest deadlines.
I'm assionate about typography, have intuitive copywriting
skills, a fanatical attention to detail, and recently, the recipient of
4 industry awards.
I'm proud to be able to genuinely claim that I have never
missed a deadline, never come up against a creative or technical
challenge that I haven't been able to complete and am fortunate
to have project management abilities and senior level artworking
skills, meaning I can offer a total concept-to-client service.
I am fiercely passionate about my career and could never be accused
of being a 9 to 5 bloke. Hence the name I've chosen to work
under. A true creative doesn't stop being creative at 5.30.
It's a twenty5 hour
a day, 8 days a week thing for me.
