About me

I have spent the last six months working in the music industry, creating high quality written and visual content for artists' releases, social media, and press. From this experience I have been able to further develop my skills in creating a dynamic relationship between words and visuals, as well as improving my awareness of the importance of this in sharing content with the world. Prior to this placement, I started my own music sharing website in my final year of university and created weekly written content, reviewing music I had discovered so I am very confident in writing with a range of perspectives whether it's academic, publishing or journalistic. As an English Literature graduate, my academic discipline encouraged a deep, analytical and creative understanding of traditional forms of communication which have the power to sculpt meaning and express ideas in inspiring ways.
