About me

I am a Graphic Designer. I have a clear interest in problem solving and careful, considered communication. I am skilled in using Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator and have experimented with film and moving image using Premiere Pro and After Effects. I am confident with producing designs for both digital and print mediums and have experience printing on a wide range of materials including, vinyl, canvas, newsprint and to multiple scales.

Furthermore, I have had experience working within a photography studio, working with lighting, camera and composition which is a feature of the work I create. I am an Art Director, Photographer and I work from concept through to research through to art direction/typography/layout design to production. I am skilled in hand booking binding and create publications from books to magazines. I have a total command of detail and am able to speak eloquently whilst presenting ideas and concepts to a group setting.

I have learnt teamwork and compromise as I have collaborated with big groups on campaigns and smaller groups of two or three on self initiated projects. I am not afraid to make mistakes in order to learn new things through the process of design.

I have a Foundation Diploma (Merit) from Kingston University, this Foundation course teaching me how to handle fast paced working environments and how to juggle more than one project at once. Moreover, I have graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a 2:1 in Graphic Arts and Design. At Leeds I worked on live briefs and learnt how to design for a client, how to interact with a secondary party within a design project.
