Hope you are doing well, I am excited to introduce myself as a skilled visual effects artist with a passion for creating stunning and captivating Visuals in digital media. My name is Gowtham Shanthakumar, and I am currently based in Richmond, BC, Canada. Perceiving my Advanced Visual effects (Virtual Production) program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and I hold a Bachelor of Creative Arts (.A) in digital media art from the renowned Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology in Bangalore, India.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in various areas of post-production in visual effects, Including CG Generalist, Compositing, Motion Graphics, Crowd, and FX Simulation.
Previously, I worked as an FX and Crowd/TD artist at Double Negative, where I got an opportunity to exhibit my skills on feature-length films such as 'NIMONA(2023), Masters of the AIR(2024), MICKEY 17 (2024) and Furiosa(2024)'.
