As a professional surf photographer based in Swansea, Wales, UK, I am passionate about capturing the beauty of the waves and the joy of surfing.

I was born in Cardiff but made in Gower.
My passion for the ocean and all things surf started from a young age. I started surfing at the age of about 8-9 and haven’t stopped.
The sea is where i’m at home.

How did I get into surf photography?

I was on a family trip to Cornwall many years back, we always stay in St Ives, its a beautiful place that holds a special place in my heart.
We popped out one day to a place called Porthleven, where we spotted a sign outside of a lane that said Waves Gallery. Me and my dad never pass up a chance to go into a shop, relating to the surf or sea. The moment I stepped in, I was blown away. The walls were adorned with the finest, high-quality imagery of the sea I had ever seen. Perfect waves, and ocean shots, plastered the walls you couldn’t not see a beautiful image.
These photographs showed waves and the sea in such a light I had only ever seen in big surf films and the internet. This was the work of an incredibly talented man named Mike Lacey. From that moment on, I told myself, you need to do this. It’s incredible. People all over need to be seeing this kind of work.
So a few years on I got a camera and started clicking away! As they say, the rest is history.
