About me

I studied at Hereford College of Art & Design for two years learning the basics of Graphic Design, and then went on to study further at The Surrey Institute of Art & Design where I did a degree course in Design Management. This course enabled me to further my understanding of design and its role in the workplace.

During my study at University I did a work placement at Hat Art Ltd and I was lucky enough to be involved with design work for various films including Mortal Kombat, Lawnmower Man 2 and Rainbow.

I then went on to work at a small design consultancy based near London where I had the opportunity to work on some design projects for high profile companies such as Swatch, Walkers, Tesco, Tie Rack, Camp America and Croft.

My next work role was of Senior Designer in a busy and expanding company.

I then went on to work for Harper Design as Head of the design and print department. I coordinated projects from start to finish, liaised with clients and managed junior designers.

From there I went to work for UK Balls Ltd as a Senior Creative. My main role involved working together with Designers, the PR Manager and the Director to produce exceptional promotional material for forthcoming events that the company run. Work included website design, branding and printed material.

I am currently working as a freelance designer from home in Worcester and have been doing this for the past year.
