About me
I have both the passion and aptitude for design; it really interests and excites me. I feel design should be fun, ideally aid people throughout life or make them feel emotionally connected with a product. Design has many processes; I gain the most satisfaction seeing a rough sketch, develop to the conceptual stage. A great by-product of this process, are the many new transferable skills gained.
At Lincoln University I studied a comprehensive degree in product design; developing skills in idea generation, concept development, 'Dirty Modelling', 3D modelling, manufacturing and material processes. I also gained a wide range of transferable skills relevant to many aspects of Product Design. I am computer literate and highly competent with the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator and for 3D modelling I use Maya.
I have comprehensive and varied interests which include competitive football (semi professional level), golf, skiing and surfing. In addition, I enjoy travel and the opportunity to experience new places, people and culture.
