I think my best qualities are my ability to organise, and enable others to do their job well. I see myself as a facilitator - whether I'm in a support role or leading a project, I make sure everyone else is equipped and encouraged to do their job to their best ability. I also enjoy building rapport with people, and I've worked with people of all ages, especially young people and students. I feel I can gauge an audience and create an experience they'll enjoy.
In my events experience, I have a strong background of delivering projects on time, and to budget, and I am also highly organised, driven, and committed to seeing projects delivered well.
I've grown a lot in my current role, which involves fast paced workloads and high levels of pressure and responsibility, and can honestly say I am now at the top of my game. I'd really like to return to Paisley (where I live and socialise) to work, and this role would encompass everything I've been working towards.
I've travelled - living Ireland as a nanny for a year brought with it many transferable skills both in the workplace and socially, as I met au pairs from various countries and cultures while I lived there. I grew in my confidence, and my ability to manage my time, think creatively, multi-task and of course, in conflict management.
I am also looking for a workplace I can get invested in - I sit on both the Staff Social Group and Staff Equalities Group in my current workplace, and I'd be first to volunteer to create or lead a similar group in another company.
I think my skills and experience are what you're looking for in this role, and I would relish the chance to work for such an exciting organisation.
