Gilbert Balaram

Senior Designer

I have been working in the design consultancy industry for the last 20 years working for a variety of design agencies including Seymourpowell, Fitch, PSD, PDD and as well as for myself.

The core aspect of my job role is technical design from the concept phase through to implementation. I have experience in working in a variety of sectors including product, packaging, medical, street furniture and transportation.

Throughout my career I have worked in multi-disciplined teams designing and developing mass and niche products ready for market.

The skills and experience I bring to the team is the ability to stretch from the concept development phase through to detail design and development. Whilst also understanding and resolving technical issues associated with the relationship between the consumer and the product, as well as designing for manufacture and assembly.
