Dear Sir/Madam,

Having reviewed the position for the Graduate Design Placement on Creative Pool, I am very keen to apply. I believe I would be a competent addition to your team, having already demonstrated a strong level of administrative, communicative and creative ability in my previous roles.

I am currently enjoying a successful position within the home administration department, of Lloyds TSB. Having met and exceeded targets from a very early stage, I am now looking to develop my skills within a more challenging environment. I am keen to progress in the world of design, marketing and media as I feel this is where my abilities are.

The role appears to have more emphasis on graphic design than my current position, which appeals to me as this is a core skill that I have applied to both my degree in Media Production and my previous work experience. I believe my experience within graphics, web design and administration are well matched to the requirements of the position, and that this, coupled with my passion for the industry, would be an asset to the department.

I will be moving to London within the coming weeks and am looking forward to starting a career in design that I am most passionate about.
