About me

I am writing to you to express my interest in regards to the graduate position currently advertised.

The career opportunity offered with this company is a strong match for my well rounded background. I have recently graduated from a graphic design course. I have a strong portfolio of work which will show case my skills in taking initial concepts, of various print and digital products, and developing them through to production within tight deadlines.
Over the past two years I have worked as a freelance costume and set designer working with various London based theatre companies including Lyceum Theatre, Sphinx Theatre Company, Stink TV, The Roundhouse Theatre and Camden Girls for School.

These jobs gave me an incredibly unique experience, working in a fast paced creative environment. I met tight deadlines and worked within strict budgets whilst maintaining a strong understanding of my creative peers expectations.

During my experience as a costume designer I found myself naturally interested in the Marketing and Advertising of the productions, I would often volunteer my design skills to help promote each show. This motivated me to invest in a credible graphic design course to further me in a career which genuinely inspires me.

Since then I have been working as a freelance graphic designer working on various print products including the branding of two local businesses.

I am extremely eager to begin work in a company where I can work as part of a team and be able to apply myself as I continue to learn and progress within the business.
