About me
A passionate and perceptive design professional, I take great care and attention in all aspects of my design. I am able to demonstrate more than five years experience within professional design, currently working as a Middle-Weight Designer at the Daily Telegraph. I studied Design for Advertising, in which I achieved a 1st class BA(honours). My specific skills include design for marketing and advertising, layout design and print material.
Working within a high-pressured environment in the Marketing and Brand department has enhanced my ability to produce high calibre designs whilst working to strict deadlines on numerous projects at once. On a daily basis, I am required to produce advertisements for publication within the newspaper and magazines, inclusing e-commerce and editorial advertisements. I deliver promotional media from concept to completion. I also closely manage and organise the work flow of the print design team. Within the role, I have gained experience working with both internal and external clients.
I am adept at using Mac and PC's. More specifically, I have demonstrable experience with; Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, and Microsoft packages. I have a strong passion for design and would like a new challenge in which my skills will allow me to exceed expectations.
