About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing in response to your Graphic Designer vacancy.

So first a little about me; I have just completed a HNC/HND at Gloucestershire college and I'm now looking to find a permanent job in the industry and the opportunity with your company really excites me. I use Adobe Creative Cloud so I am up to date and confident with the latest Adobe software. I also use an Apple MacBook to do all my work so I am comfortable with the software and the interface of Apple products. During my freelance work I have made a range of products such as websites, where I have used Adobe Muse, Fireworks and Dreamweaver to design and create them as well as creating logos, posters and brochures where I used Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, so I am confident working with this software.

In my free time I like to make videos with my friends which means shooting the video as well as editing it therefor I am comfortable using Adobes video editing software such as Adobe PremierPro and Edge Animate. I also enjoy photography where I like to take and develop images. I develop them using Adobe Lightroom which I really enjoy doing.

Due to doing my freelance work and during my time at college I have learnt and developed many skills such as time keeping skills and working to tight deadlines. Due to setting up meetings and having numerous phone calls with clients I have very good communication skills and I am confident discussing work with clients. I believe I could learn a lot from working within your company and I could really develop my skills further but I also believe that I could bring my skills to your company as well as my own design style and passion to your work.
