Dear Sir/Madam,

Please find enclosed my CV in application for the position as a business analyst.

In July I graduated with first class honours from an Msci in Mathematics and Statistics. In which I have taken modules which prepare me for this position. I am competent working with data arising from many designs. I've extensive knowledge in logistic regression; both univariate and multivariate, and I've also sat a module in complex networks.

Throughout my degree I specialised in Statistics. I enjoy finding the stories in a set of data- both expected and unexpected. I'm adept at pattern spotting and discovering trends as my academic career has been geared towards this.

I've experience using R, SAS and SPSS to analyse data sets, both big and small. In my fourth year I produced reports containing real data analysis; entailing analysis, interpretation and presenting and I'm confident translating raw data into results to present at all levels of understanding.

I would bring an innovative approach when communicating data and presenting complex analytics by combining my knowledge in statistics and my creative side. This role would allow me to gain experience in my field with a great company.
