About me

I am an artist currently based in London, with a keen interest in photography, fine art and installation work. Though I primarily use the camera, I love experimenting with alternate installation techniques, such as sculpture, using liquid emulsion to print photographically onto physical objects, or developing my film in natural, found materials. More recently I've been transitioning to more brief driven, brand focused commercial work, and exploring how I can combine my creative ideas and technical skill, whilst working for a larger team or company. Context, research and theory is very important to my work, I like to create results that are informed and relevant to the brief (however long or short) that is set.

In terms of technical skill, throughout the last 6 years I've used the Adobe creative suite consistently, primarily Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro. In terms of photography, I have a great understanding of lighting both on location and in the studio, which I find imperative to creating professional and effective final designs. I also have experience in exhibiting and installation, which uses not just skills in curation and design, but also physical printing. I also pride myself on strong planning and organisation, this time last year I was completing my dissertation, project work, and personal projects all whilst working at a full time job. This required a high level of time planning, as well as more admin focused organisation of my files and job expectations. My variety of jobs, though not creative, have taught me high levels of responsibility as well as working under and with a team. Collaboration is very important to me, particularly being able to give direction whilst also listening to the team.
