I am an experienced Print & Packaging design & artwork professional with a broad range of skills. I have been in the Retail industry for over 30 years, working on everything from Swing Tickets, Self Adhesive Labels and Packaging and have a vast experience covering all aspects of print production including: product design and development, artwork, colour management and calibration, management of client budgets and critical paths

At Braiform I was responsible for setting up the new DPP and Design Studio, recruiting the Designers and Reprographic Technicians for their skill sets with New Product Development in mind for the continuous improvement to the Packaging Industry. Other resources including freelancers and shift working hours was implemented to cope with the fast turnaround work that was required.

I have worked with a number of global blue chip clients able to meet and comply with their brand guidelines for Marks & Spencer, Next, The White Company, Disney, Mothercare, Crabtree and Evelyn, McDonalds and Nelsons Pharmaceuticals.

Working with Woolworths my team and I was responsible for the complete POS for all the High Street Stores this included artworking and layout for the Woolwoolworths Catalogue. Nelsons Pharmaceuticals I was responsible for artworking (including Pharma Codes), artwork management, print ready files and ensuring all the pharmaceutical guidelines were adhered to

I am used to having face to face meetings with clients to ensure their briefs and projects were understood and delivered on time. I thrive on the ever-changing priorities and challenges of the industry and possess a hands-on approach, facing new challenges with a can-do attitude. A resourceful manager and team player, I have a meticulous attention to detail and possess excellent creative and problem solving skills and consistently work to understand and respond to the clients needs. I also have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines whilst ensuring that work is of the highest standard.

I have vast experience of all types of printing process, and can work with your production teams to ensure that the artwork and reprographics are fit for purpose.

As a Design Studio Manager I was responsible for the studio financial process (billing and financial reporting), ensuring all briefs are dispatched in the studio based on individuals strengths and skills, creating a workflow structure, reviewing daily work schedules, ensuring work is met and delivered to deadlines, compiling and updating studio schedules regularly, keeping all departments informed about project status, dispatching workload, managing annual leave of employees and resource management across both
