Hi

I'm Geoff and I'm the Business Development Manager for recruitment on Creativepool and an Art School dropout.

I started my career in recruitment like many others when I half fell into a job as a recruitment consultant for a small independent agency specialising in payroll recruitment in 2005.

From there I transitioned into the world of job boards with a position at the now defunct HotOnline Group where I would regularly be asked by potential clients "why would I advertise a job on a website"

Things have certainly changed since those days!

I spent many years working at Totaljobs; progressing to a team leader role before moving to a Field based role managing some of the biggest customer account for Monster.

After being made redundant from Monster as part of a restructuring process I made a decision to do something entirely different and spent a year trading Bitcoin; which at the time most people had not even heard of. However, long days at home on my own didn't sit too well with my sociable personality and I missed the lively environment and friendly banter of a sales office so returned to full time employment in early 2017.

Having spent so many years in the world of recruitment advertising there's not much I haven't encountered and not many questions I can't answer.
