My name is Genya Vinnikov and I am a self-motivated individual who is always looking for the opportunity to uses my creativity and innovative nature in a strategic manner. I thrive in a fast-paced environment, where my resourcefulness, strong attention to detail, and organized
approach allow me to always deliver quality results on time. I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree at Brunel University, specializing in Design and Branding Strategy. I am seeking a part-time design centered position where I can apply the skills I have attained in my past experiences and at the same time gain an international perspective into the European design culture.
I was most recently employed as an internal graphic designer for a large healthcare firm. I joined the organization during its transition from a distribution to a private label company, which allowed me to see first-hand the successes and challenges of major rebranding projects. Through this opportunity, I earned invaluable professional design experience and gained tremendous insight into the medical industry. I am now seeking to further my education in order to broaden my capabilities in other sectors.
I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce by completing a 4-year undergraduate degree with a double major in Marketing and Finance Management. As part of my undergraduate studies, I participated in an international exchange program with RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Through this exchange, I learned to understand and appreciate the differences in marketing strategies within varying demographics. Concurrent to my undergraduate studies, I completed a 1-year Graphic Communications certification at Ryerson University. This certification educated me in advanced graphics software and printing technologies, providing me with the necessary foundational design skills required to visually appeal to today's consumer.
