About me

I am writing to apply for the position of Print Designer. I am a Textile designer from the UK, who has lived in Amsterdam for the past 10 years. My Husband has a job based in Farnborough now, so we are looking to relocate back to the UK where we spend a week in every month and we are based in London. I am a versatile Designer who is capable of designing for Womens wear, to Boys wear. My last position was for Sandwich Mode Design as an Artworker. As well as creating the all-over prints and placement designs I also assisted the Fashion designers with their style sheets and drawings. I worked in publisher and assisted the production team to get the style sheets sent to the factory when busy. I was also responsible for taking the minutes in the sales meetings as I was the only English person in the company. I created the collection book covers, researched on shopping trips, created final mood boards for the sales team, wrote the short summaries for the collection along with the PR and Marketing team. I also created the colour names, created the colour charts and provided the collection book pages with myself and my colleagues Artworks. I print my own designs at a print studio in my spare time.
