About me

I graduated from The University of Huddersfield, in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Multimedia.

I have professional experience working for the US textbook publisher Bedford/St. Martin's, based in Boston, Massachusetts, where I completed a 12-month internship in New Media.

My commercial experience comes from working as a web designer since early 2006 for Scratchmedia, a design agency based in Sheffield. During this time I have worked with a variety of clients from around the globe.

I enjoy creating a look and feel to each site I work on, determining the overall visual experience the site visitor will have. I work with space, colour, typography, layouts, photography, content, etc. Each element is carefully considered to represent the most appropriate, most meaningful, and most effective design.

I consider usability and accessibility as fundamentals of good design. Mixing these with great aesthetics can create amazing websites.

Currently I am looking to find an exciting new opportunity to work with an agency where I can apply my skills and keep pace with this fast-moving industry.
