About me

I am a 25 year old Junior Handbag designer currently working for Skinnydip London. My main focus is within handbag and small accessory design but have also had experience with shoes, soft accessories and some jewellery. Seeing my designs come to life on the high street keeps me excited within my job and gives me huge motivation in my career.

Prior to my current position, I was an assistant designer, turned junior designer at a leading high street supplier. Within this role I was working for a variety of different clients, including Next and M&S. This gave me valuable skills in interpreting different customers and their needs which allowed me to design on a range of levels.

I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 2:1 in Fashion Accessory Design and prior to this I also have 2 years experience at degree level, studying print design within Textiles at Loughborough University. Whilst at Nottingham, I specialised in designing and manufacturing handbags, shoes

and small leather goods. My passion lies within accessory design and my strengths certainly reside within CAD design, working on Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as following trends and creating trend research/mood boards.

I have also completed an internship at French Connection, where I designed across their accessories range including bags, jewellery, shoes, and travel as well as other soft accessories which featured in their Spring/Summer 2016 collection.

I am an ambitious and focused individual who thrives in a fast paced and competitive environment.
