Gavin's work

Hi, my name is Gavin and I am nuts about everything digital. I am always looking to expand my experience with exciting and front running companies and projects.

I have been running my own companies for the last 2 years now and have been responsible for everything from every day company functions to pitching clients, I am also a very hands on and make sure I get to spend a lot of time designing, performing IA and developing the front end. Up until now my focus has been interface design and front end development, but in the last few years I have been spending a great deal of my time working with IA & UX, a discipline I find most fascinating and exciting. I am also tying this all together with managing my team of designers and developers to deliver some superb web applications and websites, some simple and others fully featured social networking applications.

I have had the pleasure of working with Microsoft, Debenhams, BP, Verbatim, BT & UEFA in recent months.

Prior to going it alone I spent nearly 4 years working at Future Publishing, spending my days designing, planning and delivering some of the biggest editorial based high traffic websites in Europe. These include: Bikeradar (design, branding, IA and build), Musicradar (design, IA & build), TotalFilm (design, IA) and CyclingNews (design, IA & build). I have also designed, structured the IA and built various other websites within the company for the following external brands: LG, Pioneer, Sony and Orange.
