About me
I'm currently the digital copywriter for Domestic & General, where I have taken charge of the tone of voice for all online copy. That means reviewing and creating product copy for over 70 different websites, developing new tones for new brands and products as well as creating content marketing pieces.
I have also recently embarked on a project to set up my own business as a freelance copywriter. I have worked for both B2B and B2C companies, crafting everything from UX copy to entire websites, as well as consulting on branding and tone of voice.
I moved to Domestic & General from The Dixons Carphone Group, where I was copy editor. In this role I took a lead in defining the tone of voice for various brands, ensured the quality of the copy produced by our team of writers, and took a big part in developing a content strategy.
In the past, I have worked in Surrey County Council's press office, achieving global coverage for the council and fielding enquiries from local and national media.
