About me

I consider myself to be an experienced artwork all-rounder in the Ian Botham/Freddie Flintoff mould (with less drinking!)

With 15 years experience in the design and print industry, my CV covers a variety of work and I have a wealth of experience in various sectors.

I pride myself in being a hard working, adaptable, flexible, efficient person who is comfortable working as part of a team or on my own initiative, with good communication and inter-personal skills, and a creative and fun person who thrives on new challenges.

I am looking to get back into this line of work after taking a sabbatical and I'm keen to put my experience and contacts within the design and print industry to good use once more.

My skills include:

- Communication and relationship building skills with colleagues, clients and suppliers

- Organisational skills in ensuring consistent work flow

- Excellent Quark 6.5, Photoshop CS, Illustrator 10 and Freehand 8 skills

- Additional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, InDesign, ImageReady and Acrobat

- Experienced in Photoshop retouching and cut-outs

- Knowledge and experience of all aspects of design and pre-press, including copywriting, proof reading, artwork checking and colour appreciation

- An eye for detail
