About us

Gap Medics is a highly successful young company that specialises in adventurous educational travel experiences for aspiring medical and nursing students. Students aged 16 upwards join us from around the world to spend a few weeks shadowing health professionals in Africa, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean.

We provide a comprehensive package for our students, which includes accommodation in our own purpose-built Gap Medics houses and full-time support from our dedicated staff teams in each location.

Our Head Office on Gateshead Quayside is an energetic and fun workplace, and home to our senior management, sales and marketing, customer service and administration teams.
