About me

I am a language student who lives in Edinburgh. I study at Heriot Watt University. My course is in Languages (Interpreting and Translating) French and German. It is a four year Master of Arts Degree. As part of my degree, I have also just completed a year abroad where I studied at the University of Innsbruck in Austria and Haute Ecole Leonard de Vinci at their l'Institut de Marie Haps, which is their Languages institute in Brussels, Belgium. Whilst studying at university I have undertaken many part time jobs in retail, catering and in the Civil Service.
Before attending University, I attended Balfron High School.Whilst at school, I tutored French and German to younger years and I was involved in a Europe wide project called Comenius.
At university, I was a Halls Representative. This role required me to liase between the university staff and students living in my halls. I am also undertaking the role of Webmaster for the Erasmus Society for my university this year. This involves proficiency in social media as well as the use of email and Microsoft Word. It also involves some marketing and Public Relations work in advertising Erasmus managed events such as day trips, weekends away, nights out and events that bring together the students of Heriot Watt University and their foreign visitors.
